I saw one in the store the other day and I REALLY REALLY want one. It’s just like the Moby wrap we have which I LOVE but it’s a little easier to work with and you can wear it in like a million different ways! Anybody have any thoughts on it?
Happy 11 month birthday to the sweetest little girl in the whole entire world!!! I cannot believe she will be 1 fucking years old in 1 month. How the hell??? I don’t want Sunny to grow up ever.
SUNNY IS HOME IN 9 MORE DAYS!!! Our case worker FINALLY gave us a date and got the last meeting arranged for May 31st and then right after the meeting Sunny comes home. It’s about fucking time. FUCK FUCK FUCK YES!!! This next week is going to be the most anticipated, longest week of my life but I could not be any happier!!! =]=]=]
We let Sunny paint with yogurt koolaid the other day and these were her hand and feet prints we sent to my mom!
Anonymous asked: What have you learned from your experience with DHS? I used to work in social services and I was always interested in what, if any, tools people took from their experience with us. Believe it or not, DHS workers are trying to help and offer support and advice for parenting!
Hmhm…I will say that they take A LOT of time and are SUPER slow at there jobs hahaha. But I will also say we got lucky and got a good worker so that helped. I don’t really know what else besides the fact that I really didn’t like my experience and it should of never happened in the first place.
Sunny had a doctors visit today and they said she has torticollis. Basically it’s just one of her neck muscles aren’t strong enough and her head tilts to one side. It’s nothing terrible and it’s WAYYY better than it was at birth but we have to keep working with her head and doing exercises to tilt her head the way that she doesn’t want it to go. We noticed that her head was like that forever and we just always thought it would fix itself and that it was nothing. It’s not serious which is super good and gets better just from doing exercises with her. The doctor said it should be fully fixed in a few months or so. And she gained a pound so yay!!!
I can’t wait until Friday!!! The return home committee meeting thing is Friday!!! Then we have a family decision meeting next week and then Sunny is home. YOU GUYS GET EXCITED !!! Shortest DHS case Oregon has ever seen say WHAT!!!
We’re having a picnic and playing outside today and I really wish that I had a camera to document my first mothers day. Oh well, I’m just excited I get to see my little girl!
